Am 16.07.2025 findet die Opening Ceremony der FISU-Games in der Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena in Duisburg statt. Um uns auf die großartige Eröffnungsfeier einzustimmen, beginnt ab 14 Uhr ein Pre-Event im Leichtathletik-Stadion Duisburg, an dem Hochschulsporteinrichtungen aus ganz NRW teilnehmen. Die Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena befindet sich, ebenfalls im Sportpark Wedau, fußläufig vom Leichtathletikstadion entfernt.
Mit sportlichen und spielerischen Aktionen, Musik, Netzwerken, Getränken und Essen auf Selbstzahler-Basis findet ein Get-Together statt. Anschließend beginnt ab 19 Uhr der Aufbruch zur Opening Ceremoy.
Die Eröffnungsfeier startet um 20 Uhr mit Auftritten bekannter Künstler*innen wie Ayliva, Montez, Querbeat und dem WDR-Funkhausorchester. Abgerundet wird das Event mit einem internationalen Top-Artist! Um 21:30 Uhr wird die Delegationsparade mit 8.500 studierenden Spitzensportler*innen und Offiziellen die Arena betreten. Es werden 150 verschiedene Nationen vertreten sein.
Die Eröffnungsfeier endet voraussichtlich um 23 Uhr.
Da wir nur ein begrenztes Ticketkontingent zur Verfügung haben, bitten wir um verbindliche Anmeldung bis zum 11.06.2025. Das Ticket enthält neben dem Eintritt zum Pre-Event und zur Opening Ceremony, die kostenlose Nutzung des ÖPNVs im Sinne des VRR Tarifs, Preisstufe D.

The Opening Ceremony of the FISU Games will take place on 16.07.2025 in the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena in Duisburg. To get us in the mood for the great opening ceremony, a pre-event will start at 2 pm in the Duisburg athletics stadium, in which university sports facilities from all over NRW will participate. The Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena is also located in the Wedau sports park, within walking distance of the athletics stadium.
There will be a get-together with sporting and playful activities, music, networking, drinks and food on a self-pay basis. Afterwards, the opening ceremony will begin at 7 pm.
The opening ceremony starts at 8 pm with performances by well-known artists such as Ayliva, Montez, Querbeat and the WDR Funkhausorchester. The event will be rounded off with a top international artist! At 9:30 pm, the delegation parade with 8,500 top student athletes and officials will enter the arena. There will be 150 different nations represented.
The opening ceremony is expected to end at 11pm.
As we only have a limited number of tickets available, please register by 11.06.2025. In addition to admission to the pre-event and the opening ceremony, the ticket includes free use of public transport according to the VRR tariff, price level D.
