Bouldern ist eine Sportart, die darin besteht, eine Wand, Felsformation oder künstliche Kletterstruktur ohne Seil in geringer Höhe zu erklimmen. Im Gegensatz zum klassischen Klettern, das oft in größeren Höhen und mit Seil gesichert durchgeführt wird, wird beim Bouldern in der Regel auf Absprunghöhen von 3-4 Metern geklettert und beim Absturz auf einer weichen Matte gelandet.
Bouldern ist ein anspruchsvoller Sport, der Kraft, Ausdauer, Koordination, Beweglichkeit und Konzentration erfordert. Die Bewegungen sind oft dynamisch, akrobatisch und erfordern eine hohe Körperbeherrschung. Auch der soziale Aspekt spielt eine wichtige Rolle beim Bouldern, da es oft in Gruppen oder in speziellen Kletterhallen praktiziert wird.
Bouldern ist kein Teil der Schnupperwoche. Daher ist in dieser Sportart kein Schnuppern in der ersten Programmwoche möglich.
